The BIG Overnight Millionaire CON by Wesley Virgin

Spread the love

So you have come across Wesley “Million Dollar” Virgin’s new-ish training called Overnight Millionaire System and wondering if it is a scam? Maybe you are starting affiliate marketing and you want to be certain if Overnight Millionaire System is legit, and it is worth promoting to people?

Well Overnight Millionaire has been promoted heavily, including a few super-affiliates like Franklin Hattchett on YouTube (as a legit way to make $200 a day or so by promoting it…). So I grew curious what it is all about.

My first impression – gut instinct – was that Overnight Millionaire was a scam.

As I dug deeper, I changed my mind, and I think that Overnight Millionaire is not a scam. It is, actually, very…hmm…a good product. Not for everyone, but it is affordable and provides value for money.

The issue I have has nothing to do with Overnight Millionaire.

Overnight Millionaire – the one that everyone promotes – is just a hook.

The real product here is something completely different, something much more sinister, something that really stinks and you should stay away from:

Wesley Virgins ‘s Affiliate Program

If you get hooked on, you may not notice that you are in a sales funnel that will suck you in and lead you to a much more expensive (overpriced) product that I believe is much close to being a scam than Overnight Millionaire.

So if you are new to affiliate marketing, or just taking the first steps of breaking out of the 9 to 5 treadmill you must, pleease, you must be very careful with Wesley Virgin’s Overnight Millionaire. Especially if you’d like to promote it as a newbie affiliate marketer!

Let me explain it a bit more, why it is so dangerous for the inexperienced!

First of all, who is Wesley “Million Dollar” Virgin and why should we believe that he’s got the Saint Graal of becoming wealthy? Are we really going to be an Overnight Millionaire?

The Overnight Millionaire System CON by Wesley ‘Million Dollar’ Virgin

Who Is Wesley Virgin?

You can definitely find Wesley Virgin on Instagram, and I must admit, he’s not bad. And unlike other (successful) products he is selling or have sold through ClickBank, the Overnight Millionaire is actually has his name and face on it.

His style may not be appealing for everyone, but he’s just himself always, and it makes him look genuine.

As for claiming the key to success: from all accounts the man makes at least $100,000 per day. Even though LUCK played a significant part in his overnight success:

A few years back he had a Weight Loss product called Fat Diminisher on ClickBank. There was a group of super affiliates by the name of Gerry Cramer & Rob Jones that created a course on how to promote ClickBank products and they just so happened to choose Wesley Virgin’s Fat Diminisher product.

Their students started spending thousands of dollars in Facebook ads to promote Wesley’s products.

This is when Wesley’s fortune took off – overnight.

What is ClickBank?

If you are new to online marketing, you may have not heard of ClickBank before. It is an online marketplace for mostly digital products in various categories. Any merchant can register an account with ClickBank, and use the tools provided to create a professional looking landing page and sales funnel. All payments and refunds are managed by ClickBank, so as a seller it is very convenient.

Also, it is very popular among affiliate marketers, since every product can be promoted through affiliate marketing. The commission will vary, but if you, as a seller, would like 100’s of eager affiliate marketers promote your product, ClickBank is a pretty great place to go to.

As an affiliate marketer, you can pick any product you’d like to promote, tracking of sales and creating affiliate links is very beginner-friendly. All you need to do is getting as many people clicking on your link as possible, the rest will be down to the sales funnel the seller has created. It sounds easy, but actually, it is not. And it is not without risks…And it is definitely not for Beginners as I said it many times before.

Wesley now has courses that promise to teach you the skills and mindset to make a fortune online, so you can live a better life.

Lets take a deeper look at what you’ll be learning from the Wesley “Billion Dollar” Virgin.

Overnight Billionaire Millionaire

Luck or no luck, this guy knows how to make money online.

In weight loss niche, he certainly knew what he was talking about.

He certainly knows how to make money – he was making money online well before his Fat Diminisher product kicked off. He was there. If he hadn’t been there there would have been no jackpot for him.

So I can easily believe that he has got experience in having the right (or wrong) mindset, he knows what’s holding someone back etc.

And to be fair, the mindset and mentality he promotes is quite alright.

You may think that the title of his course is misleading, but after going through the whole lot of videos, it is obvious that this course is about Wesley.

He is the overnight millionaire.

And he is very honest about it.

As I said, scammers don’t use their own name and face to promote a scam.

Overnight Millionaire is very motivational, and very unique.

What’s Included for $20?

Wesley asks you to write down why you want what you want. People are always after technical know-how. But Wesley says it doesn’t matter HOW it’s going to happen at the beginning. It’s much more vital to clarify WHY you want to become a millionaire. I must admit, this is exactly what I thought about ‘being motivated’. If you don’t know why you are doing something, it does not matter if you know the ins and outs of the technicalities. You won’t achieve success if you don’t want it, or you don’t know why you want it.

There are 5 sets of MP3 audio files “Overnight Mindset Hacks” to listen to for a minimum of 60 days. They’re supposed to change your unconscious mind for success and abundance.

The “Millionaire Mindset Hacks” includes video clips that are both motivational and educational, including;

  1. How to come up with all the ideas that could potentially make you $1 million or more, and write them down.
  2. How to visualize and reflect on having $1m in your bank account.
  3. How to become a “high-value person” with a successful skill set that people value and will pay for.
  4. It’s important to listen to people who actually have $1 million or more saved up.
  5. Create unshakable belief in yourself to keep pushing forward so you can see results faster.
  6. How to find ways to create multiple streams of income in areas that already are in high demand.
  7. Learn how to become a master at sales, marketing and persuasion as a newbie without reading a lot of books.
  8. +1. Wesley’s own emotional breakthrough story – he talks about his family and when he didn’t have money.

I personally think that the last, 30-minute long video is what makes the methods, skills and mindset behind ‘Overnight Millionaire’ feel so genuine.

With audio, video and other actionable steps Overnight Millionaire gives you plenty to digest for months. Changing one’s mindset definitely does not happen overnight, it is a long process.

But the further ahead you are on that long road – if it ever ends anywhere – you chance for ‘breaking through’ is increasing.

Upsells

If you can’t have enough of Wesley, there are loads of upsells;

  • Affirmation Cash Course ($17) – Affirmations designed to harness the power of the law of attraction and positive thinking, for you to chant them. Wesley’s extremely confident about this product, offering 365-day, 100% money-back guarantee. He even says he’d give you 3x your money back if you weren’t happy.
  • Million Dollar Persuasion & Psychology Techniques ($9) – What makes a person buy or not buy. “Cognitive psychological triggers” to get your customer (or anyone, spouse or a child) with you without resistance
  • Unrevealed Secrets Of A Millionaire Mind ($99). It’s Wesley’s 10-day course that pretty much sums up how to become a millionaire according to Wesley, with topics such as ‘Sexual Transmutation – an ancient method (use your sexual desires to create wealth in life), proven to 95% of millionaires and successful entrepreneurs. With Wesley’s personal experience’.

These products cost so little, that you literally have nothing to lose trying them out. Even though these don’t offer anything new or groundbreaking apart from the last one (and most of them available in various formats across the internet for free), it’s nice to have them at one place, interpreted by Wesley ‘Million Dollar’ Virgin.

Wesley Virgin’s program is not a “method” to make money online, but more about having the right MINDSET.

Going into something with a negative mindset is just setting yourself up for failure.

Sit up right, believe in yourself, KNOW that you can do this stuff – DON’T go into any new business thinking “what if I fail” or “what if it doesn’t work” – or even worse “what if I can’t do it” – you’re setting yourself up to FAIL with those thoughts.

You can happily head over to the landing page, watch the sales video and then buy a good, motivational product for only $20.

If you are not interested in starting affiliate marketing whatsoever, nor have any intention to promote Overnight Millionaire as an affiliate then you can stop reading now.

But if you feel that you may be convinced to try out how to become a millionaire yourself, with the help of Wesley ‘Million Dollar’ Virgin, and you would hesitate to click on the X when the popup window jumps into your face saying that a NEWBIE earned $600,000 with this method – learn how, then please read on, you’ll thank me.

Wesley Virgin Is Not A Scammer – But Is He a Contrepreneur? The Wesley Virgin Affiliate Program

I’ve been following this guy, Mike Winnet, on YouTube lately, he is hilarious. He exposes scammers a.k.a contrepreneurs, their techniques and their con methods they use to draw people in and make people pay for…well, most of the time, nothing.

As I was reviewing ‘Overnight Millionaire’ this word – contrepreneur – popped into my mind very often.

Becoming a CONtrepreneur

No, I don’t have a problem with flexing muscles in front of an expensive sports car. I accept that these type of ‘trashy’ ads simply appeal to some people. I don’t want to generalize or hurt anyone’s feelings, let’s just say that certain type of people find these sort of ads (TV shows, Reality shows, celebrities etc.) more appealing, and it may or may not correlate with their level of education and intelligence.

Putting that aside, who is Wesley Virgin targeting with Overnight Millionaire?

  • People who want to become a millionaire.
  • People who want to become wealthy.
  • People who don’t have a lot of money / skills / patience / motivation / time to build up wealth and are looking for a quicker way to become rich
  • People who would spend money on getting a shortcut to their goals

Strangely, affiliate marketers who just begin their online business may fall into those categories. They probably do, or at some point, after watching Wesley’s motivational videos, would like to take action.

Which is great! And surprise surprise:

Wesley has the solution!

Why don’t you take Wesley’s shortcut to being a millionaire by promoting his ClickBank product?

There is a done-for-you package for you with all the email swipes, videos, facebook ad copies etc. You literally don’t have to do anything!

Even your first sale is guaranteed!!

Where’s the catch?

Scam Warning Sign #1

If you click on the Affiliate Resources link on ClickBank for Wesley’s product, it takes you to…well it does not look like how it usually looks like.

Of course, if you are just starting affiliate marketing, you would not know this, right?

It looks more like another sales page, or a funnel if you like, trying to convince you to become an affiliate for Overnight Millionaire…so that you can become a millionaire overnight even if you have not tried affiliate marketing before.

Sounds familiar?

I thought so too.

The affiliate resource page was trying to appeal to the same bunch of people as the actual product page.

I was like…what the h*ck?

Then you click on the ‘Promote’ button, trying to promote Overnight Millionaire.

But there’s a popup asking for your email and clickbank ID.

Of course, if you knew ClickBank you would found this strange: normally you just generate a what’s called ‘hoplink’ that includes your unique code for tracking the sales you make.

You won’t go back from Wesley’s affiliate page to ClickBank at this point, and use the ‘Promote’ button on the official ClickBank page, right? And hey, Wesley says you get more commission this way!

There are sellers who don’t approve affiliates automatically, but this one is different.

Of course you don’t know this, you have barely just registered to ClickBank. You don’t know that offering a different / individual commission rate is not possible through ClickBank, as all sales are controlled and managed by them.

You receive a welcome email from Wesley – you are already on his list, but it’s double opt-in. You need to reply with your ClickBank ID again – so he knows that this email address is live and you would really like to promote his stuff.

Needless to say, that you should NEVER give your ClickBank ID out.

I though there was something really strange going on, so I went back to Google again. Within 5 minutes I found forums that don’t hold Wesley so dearly. There are claims that he used to defer commission sales from his affiliates into his own pocket…hmm…

Scam Warning Sign #2

I already mentioned that the affiliate resource page looked like a sales page.

I, as an affiliate, don’t care how much other affiliates earned with this. I look at the product myself, and see if I can find an angle that I can relate to, and promote it that way. I look at the affiliate resources, if there are any videos, banners, articles, emails.

I don’t care how many others earned commissions within 2 weeks or so.

Especially if I am  to promote a product that costs $20, at a 65% commission rate I earn $13 flat. And then I see screenshots of people earning $73.18 with one sale. I mean, come on…it’s at least a bit suspicious, isn’t it?

Scam Warning Sign #3

If you had a product you believe in, who would you rather want to promote it? Complete newbies, or experienced affiliate marketers who know their sh*t, have thousands of emails on their list, and even one of them could generate 300-500 sales just by running one quick email campaign for your product using your pre-written email swipes?

So why would you try to lure inexperienced, complete newbies who don’t know anything about anything? Don’t have massive email lists, don’t even have a basic landing page? And then offer them all the help they need: email swipes, articles, facebook ad copies etc.? Bear in mind that, as a seller, it is in your best interest to provide all support and as many resources as you can for the affiliate marketers: so they more likely promote your product, and they are successful, which lead to more affiliates promoting your product…

Wesley Done For You

In case you wondered, we have arrived at the bottom of the Sales Funnel.

At the top, there was Overnight Millionaire.

And here, is the actual product, Wesley Done For You.

The Real Product – Wesley’s Done For You Affiliate Program

It is basically an affiliate marketing training, that promotes 1 product (Overnight Millionaire).

Sounds strangely familiar?

That’s exactly how really Wesley ‘Overnight Millionaire’ Virgin became a millionaire overnight!

Crafty! See what works, and replicate it! Now Wesley has taken out the element of ‘luck’ and created a ‘training course’ to promote his own product on ClickBank!

I told you he’s sca-sca-sca-crafty!

It costs $499, and for $499 it gives you all the stuff you need to promote Overnight Millionaire, and the technical know-how of how to do it if you have not done affiliate marketing before.

Hmm…I hear Mike Winnet laughing in the background…Let’s give Wesley the benefit of the doubt: you pay $499 for the know-how, and not for the resources that EVERY-OTHER-MERCHANT provides with affiliate marketers FOR FREE. (Like I said before, because it’s in their interest).

Anyways, let’s have a look at what you get for your money:

You get the Platinum Package straight away (there isn’t any other package).

  • You can build out your “facebook compliant web page“.
This just simply does not make any sense on so many levels…
  • Facebook business page setup along with a simple to follow step by step videos.
This is available for free by Facebook itself.
  • Access to our private facebook done for you services group with like minded individuals who are already making money.
    Later on this one…
  • Step by step tutorials showing you how to create your first facebook ad.
That’s great, but again, Facebook has it for free, and there are literally hundreds of videos on YouTube showing you how to create a FaceBook Ad campaign.
  • Create your personalized landing page on our high class servers with your affiliate link to promote Wesleys’ highly converting offer on clickbank “Overnight Millionaire”. Plus you get 1 website with 1 email address for a year.
That’s great, but the actual value of this is around $3-$15. That’s how much it normally costs to create a landing page.
  • We Guarantee your first sale because You get access to my facebook audiences pixel data.
Pixel data? Sure. Pixel is a piece of code that you place on your website, and then you can target people on Facebook who have visited your website with more personalized ads. Wesley’s Facebook audience don’t have pixel data. Wesley’s website audience may have.

Guaranteed first sale? I don’t want to be mean, but it is literally giving you $13 back from the $499 you have paid.

Legal disclaimer: I am not trying to suggest that Wesleys Done For You services generate fake sales on your account (remember you have given them your clickbank ID? they just need to replace that bit in the ‘HopLink’ with your ID to allocate a sale to your account. In theory, of course…).

Now having access to a private Facebook Group of individuals who are already making money…it has a slightly different taste to it.

Wesley's DOne For You Services Landing Page. I can't even count how many times I cried out lout when I was reading it, it is just so scammy...
Wesley’s Done For You Services Landing Page. I can’t even count how many times I cried out loud when I was reading it, it is just so scammy…

If you are still thinking its not a bad deal, have a look at the ‘Order Fulfillment Policy‘.

That’s right at the bottom, underneath the 100s of testimonial videos.

It says: ‘DFY has a thank you page with a video and written instructions. Once a customer purchases they are accepted into our private facebook group.’

I am assuming, that the resources will be available within the private group…

In case you are unhappy with one video and written instructions, bad news:

Services cannot be canceled if the work is complete and delivered. If for some reason a customer is unhappy in some cases we may provide a partial refund.’

No refunds will be processed if the landing page has been started or has been done

My Opinion

Aside from the poor grammar, the shitty looks and a checkout window that screams so loud ‘DON’T TRUST ME!!’, I would never even consider buying this product.

Wesley Virgins Affiliate Program, Wesley Done For You is obviously overpriced, and even if  you could generate any sales beyond the one they ‘guarantee’ you, you’d probably end up spending much more on FaceBook ads than the income you generate through selling Overnight Millionaire.

It makes me extremely sad that Franklin Hattchett for example, who used to put out great content on YouTube seems to be taking part in this con, although I don’t know why and how. (In the video I linked at the top, he seemed to have access to the affiliate resources via what looks like a Google Drive folder – if the files shown actually have anything to do with the Overnight Millionaire System).
